2024 7th International Symposium on Traffic Transportation and Civil Architecture (ISTTCA 2024) was successfully held in Tianjin
On June 22, 2024, the 2024 7th International Symposium on Traffic Transportation and Civil Architecture (ISTTCA 2024) was successfully held in Tianjin, China. The conference was hosted by Tianjin University and Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. of CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., co-organized by Tianjin Water Transport Engineering Association, Water Transport Engineering Committee of the China Institute of Navigation, Key Laboratory of Port Geotechnical Engineering Technology Transportation Industry, Tianjin Research Institute for Water Transport Engineering, M.O.T., Tianjin Chengjian University, Tianjin University of Technology, Xi`an University of Technology, and organized by AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center.
With the theme of "Traffic Transportation and Civil Architecture", the symposium carried out academic exchanges, and the conference attracted many scholars from home and abroad to participate.
The symposium was chaired by Senior Engineer Zhichao Dong of CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co. Ltd. and Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. of CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., China. Senior Engineer Guangsi Chen, Deputy Director of Geotechnical Engineering Research Institute of Tianjin University, was invited to deliver the opening speech.
The main venue of the conference has featured outstanding presentations by esteemed professors. Notably, Xilin Lü from Tongji University, Le Wang and Chao Liang from Tianjin University, Zhichao Dong and Xu Liu from CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co. Ltd. garnered significant attention from experts and scholars alike through their exceptional keynote speeches.

The organizing committee specially set up "Civil Engineering and Material Science Session" and "Transportation and Logistics Session". The presentations were chaired by Zhonglu Cao and Jianbao Fu, senior engineers from Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. of CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd.
During the symposium, scholars from Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. of CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., Tongji University, Hohai University, Hunan University, Chang'an University, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Southwest University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Maritime University and other scientific research institutes and colleges and universities actively participated in the oral presentations of the special session, shared the latest research results and exchanged ideas with experts and scholars on the challenges and opportunities faced by the field of traffic transportation and civil architecture. The conference was also a great opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and scholars.
Finally, Jiazheng Jiang from Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. of CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. and Jingjing Guo from Hunan University won the "Best Oral Presentation Award".
